Kodak Ultramax

Kodak UltraMax 400 is a flexible, general-purpose colour film designed to handle a bit of everything. With a nominal ISO of 400, it copes well with a wider range of lighting than Gold 200, from overcast days through to indoor shots without flash.

It renders colour with good saturation and reasonably natural skin tones, giving reliable, punchy results without needing to think too hard about the conditions you're shooting in. That wider exposure latitude also means it's a bit more forgiving of over or underexposure, useful if you're still getting a feel for reading light.

It's a dependable everyday film, one to keep loaded when you're not sure exactly what the day will bring.
