Kodak Portra 800

Kodak Portra 800 is the fastest film in the Portra line, built for situations where the light simply isn't there, low-light events, indoor shots without flash, or dusk and evening shooting where you still want colour accuracy. Its nominal ISO of 800 gives real flexibility without asking you to compromise on the skin tones and softness Portra is known for.

It carries the same wide exposure latitude as the rest of the range, so it stays forgiving even when the light is difficult to judge. Grain is a touch more visible than Portra 400, but it stays fine for a film this fast, and colour rendering remains warm and true to life rather than harsh.

It's a strong choice when you need Portra's colour and skin tone quality but the conditions won't allow for a slower film.
