Start your journey with analogue photography the right way with our introduction to film photography workshop. Located in the heart of Manchester, our community darkroom is the best place to learn the wonder of film and help guide your passion for photography.

This workshop is aimed at those with an old unused camera sitting around that was inherited or thrifted long ago. We’ll provide everything you need to function and film test your vintage camera, while answering any questions you have about film or photography in general.

At the end of the workshop you’ll leave with newfound skills, a film tested camera and all the knowledge you need to make the best possible start in your film photography journey.

Roll of film included

We’ll supply a roll of film so you can test your camera and try out different settings and techniques. Developing takes place after the workshop, giving you plenty of time to explore and experiment.
