Print Club is a regular evening session where members come together to spend time printing in the darkroom.

Each session is focused on hands-on printing, building familiarity with the space, learning the practice and exchanging knowledge. By spending time making prints together, members develop the practical knowledge and confidence needed to work independently.

Print Club sessions include access to the darkroom and its professional-grade printing equipment, set up and ready for the evening. All materials are provided, including chemistry and paper, keeping the focus on printing rather than the setup.

The shared session keeps costs fair, with support on hand whenever you need it.

Black & white and colour printing sessions

Print Club sessions are organised by printing process, with separate evenings for black & white and RA-4 colour printing. This keeps the darkroom focused and ensures the right equipment and materials are set up for the work being done.

Who Print Club is for

Print Club is a members-only session for people who want regular access to the darkroom and time to build confidence through printing. It suits members who are new to the darkroom and learning by doing, as well as those with some experience who want to refine their approach.

The shared format encourages observing different workflows, asking questions, and learning from others. Print Club is best suited to those who want to be involved in the ongoing life of the darkroom printing regularly, sharing knowledge, and contributing to a supportive working environment.

Print Club is calm, focused, and quietly social. The darkroom is shared by a small group of members working on their own prints, with space for conversation, questions, and comparison along the way.

It’s an evening for printing without pressure, experimenting, and settling into your own rhythm in the darkroom.
