Session date

The session date will be scheduled after purchase using our booking calendar. We offer evening and weekend time slots to choose from.

  • All chemistry and equipment is provided.
  • Full access to the available space, allowing you to experiment alone or collaborate with friends.
  • Bring your own paper or purchase directly from the darkroom when booking your session.

Location

Hosted within Pollard Yard, on the outskirts of Manchester city centre, our community darkroom is a mere 2-minute stroll from the Holt Town tram stop, and a leisurely walk from the scenic Ancoats marina. We have on-site parking available for guests, and welcome drop-in visitors every Saturday 11am-5pm.

This booking entitles you to a two hour private session in our community darkroom to hand print black & white negatives. All chemicals and equipment are provided, with the option to include paper or bring your own. For more information about the available equipment, check out our equipment page. 

If you are new to darkroom printing we recommend attending a workshop before booking a private session.
