This booking gives you full access to our black & white darkroom—perfect for developing your film or printing from black & white negatives. All equipment and chemistry are provided, including trays, enlarger, and processing gear. You’re welcome to bring your own paper, or you can purchase paper through us when you book.

Booking dates

Your order confirmation will include a unique booking link, which you can use to book a timeslot that suits you. Evening and weekend slots over the next month are available. For any bookings beyond the next month, please get in touch with us directly. 

Location

Hosted within Pollard Yard, on the outskirts of Manchester city centre, our community darkroom is a mere 2-minute stroll from the Holt Town tram stop, and a leisurely walk from the scenic Ancoats marina. We have on-site parking available for guests traveling by car.

Enjoy a private session in our fully equipped community darkroom, designed for hand printing or film developing. All chemicals and equipment are included—just bring your negatives and either your own paper or add some to your booking.
