This gift box provides everything you need to begin exploring the craft of colour film photography and hand-developing your own C-41 negatives.
Inside you’ll find a Kodak 35mm reusable point-and-shoot camera, up to three rolls of Kodak Gold film, and a unique booking link to attend our film developing workshop. Shoot your film at your own pace, then return to our community darkroom where our staff will guide you through each stage of the developing process.
At the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with your developed negatives, high-resolution scans, and a deeper understanding of how colour film is made, processed, and brought to life.
Your first film camera
You’ll receive a Kodak M35 point-and-shoot camera — a compact, reusable 35mm camera that’s ideal for anyone getting started with film. Its fixed-focus lens, simple controls, and built-in flash make it easy to capture great results in almost any setting, without needing technical experience. Lightweight and reliable, the M35 encourages you to focus on composition, light, and timing — the essentials of film photography. It’s yours to keep, so you can continue shooting and refining your eye well beyond the workshop.
