Join us for an evening celebrating the opening of our latest analogue photography exhibition at our home in SEESAW.
Featuring work from members of the Negative Development community, the exhibition brings together a wide range of approaches to image-making, with every piece hand printed in the darkroom.
The evening is a chance to spend time with the photographers behind the work, explore the exhibition, and share ideas with others who care about analogue craft.

Visiting the exhibition
Hosted within SeeSaw, the exhibition takes place in the café and foyer space on the ground floor. Located in the heart of Manchester city centre, it’s a short walk from either Oxford Road or Manchester Piccadilly train station, making it easy to drop in and view the show.
A community collection
This exhibition comes from a community built around learning, sharing, and making work in the darkroom. It brings together people at different stages of their practice, working alongside each other to develop their understanding of analogue photography through access to tools, space, and conversation.
The work reflects this ongoing exchange. The space remains open to anyone who wants to be part of it. Membership is free, and analogue photographers of all skill levels are invited to apply.
