The Canon Sure Shot AF-7, released in 1994, was compact camera aimed at the wider consumer market. Part of the SureShot series which began over a decade earlier, Canon SureShot cameras feature highly automated shooting modes with accessible and easy to use controls.

The Sure Shot AF-7 features a prime 35mm f4.5 lens featuring three glass elements, with the shutter ranging from 1/45s to 1/180s. The reverse Galilean viewfinder offers a wide bright preview of your image. It features automatic film winding and an automatic flash that can either be forced off or on using the two control buttons on the front of the camera.
